Nirvika Sharma: Research Presented at ESHRE 2026 Supports Simplified Embryo Transfer Laboratory Workflows
Nirvika Sharma, Associate Lab Director at Ovation Fertility, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“That’s a wrap on ESHRE 2026! A fantastic time of science, collaboration, reconnecting with colleagues, and making new professional connections.
I was proud to present our poster, ‘No Difference in Pregnancy Rates Using Dedicated Versus Versatile Embryo Transfer Media in Euploid Frozen Embryo Transfer Cycles,’ in collaboration with Nexpring.
Our study evaluated 593 single euploid frozen embryo transfer cycles and found no improvement in clinical pregnancy rates with a dedicated hyaluronan-enriched embryo transfer medium compared with a versatile culture medium. As hyaluronan-enriched transfer media remain one of the most discussed IVF add-ons, our findings add to the growing evidence that comparable outcomes can be achieved while simplifying laboratory workflows and potentially reducing costs without compromising patient care.
Many thanks to the Nexpring team Matt McKee, Will Falbo, Laura Wallace, and Raj Joshi for an outstanding collaboration and insightful discussions.
A special thank you to my co-authors, Matthew ‘Tex’ VerMilyea and Lindsey VerMilyea. It is a privilege to learn from and publish alongside both of you.
It was a pleasure catching up with Eva Schenkman whose mentorship and leadership continue to inspire me.
It was also wonderful to see Erika Munch from Texas Fertility Center, and to connect with Sam Marple and Amanda Hanson from Reproductive Solutions (RSI). Always a pleasure catching up, exchanging ideas, and strengthening professional connections.
Looking forward to growing, forging new collaborations, and advancing the evidence that shapes the future of reproductive medicine.”
