Jenny Barber: New Training Focuses on Mental Health Challenges in Pregnancy and Beyond

Jenny Barber, Vice-President at Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, shared a post by Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists – RCOG on LinkedIn:

“I am delighted to share that I will be both attending and speaking at the upcoming RCOG Perinatal Mental Health course.

This fantastic two day event is open to all obstetricians as well as GPs, midwives, medical students, policy makers and allied health professionals.

There is an interesting and varied programme covering treatment of mental health conditions in the peripartum period, neurodiversity in pregnancy, the impact of trauma on birth choices, domestic abuse in the perinatal period and supporting mental health during safeguarding processes.

Places are filling up fast. I look forward to seeing you there.”

Quoting Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists – RCOG’s post:

“Apply the latest MBRRACE-UK findings to improve early recognition and intervention strategies in maternal mental health.

Gain skills in supporting families navigating safeguarding processes and learn practical approaches to inclusive, adaptive care for neurodivergent women. Secure your ticket today.”
