Ultrasound Case Challenge – The Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine
The Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine shared on LinkedIn:
“Ultrasound Case Challenge. Every other week, we present a new interactive ultrasound case that challenges your diagnostic skills.
30-year-old patient underwent a growth ultrasound at 32 weeks. Sagittal and axial views of the fetal face revealed a hypoechoic structure inferomedial to the left eye. The structure did not have any Doppler flow. The facial anatomy was otherwise normal. A dacryocystocele is suspected.
How should the patient be counseled?
Submit your diagnosis.”
