Shant Apelian: Impact of Caffeine on Neurodevelopmental Outcomes in Preterm Infants
Shant Apelian, Postdoctoral Researcher in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Yale University, shared a post on LinkedIn about a paper shared in Pediatrics and Neonatology:
“Thrilled to share our new publication in Pediatrics and Neonatology
‘Impact of caffeine on neurodevelopmental outcomes in preterm infants: A systematic review and meta-analysis’
We found that caffeine, as a medication in preterm infants, might improves motor and cognitive outcomes and reduces the risk of cerebral palsy, with no significant effect on language development.
Always happy to learn and grow in the research field!”
