ISUOG International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Ahead of the Interventional ultrasound course taking place on Sunday 2 August, your co-chair, Prof. Francesco D’Antonio, has come up with this week’s ISUOGEducation quiz question.
In minimally invasive ultrasound-guided treatment of Cesarean scar ectopic pregnancy, the use of a mechanical balloon:
- Is typically employed prior to ultrasound-guided suction.
- Should only be used in cases of severe hemorrhage.
- Should be considered an elective adjunctive treatment following ultrasound-guided suction.
- Should only be used alongside interventional radiology.
Comment your answer below and come back next Friday to see if you were correct.
If you found this question interesting, why not enhance your knowledge even further by registering for our upcoming course, Interventional ultrasound, here.”
