Odai Yaghi։ How Well Umbilical Artery Doppler-Based Classification Predicts Outcomes in Twin Pregnancies
Odai Yaghi, Specialty Trainee (ST5) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, shared a post on LinkedIn about a paper he co-authored with colleagues published in Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology։
“Very pleased to see our latest work published in Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (UOG).
We explored how well the commonly used umbilical artery Doppler-based classification predicts outcomes in monochorionic diamniotic twin pregnancies complicated by selective fetal growth restriction.
Our findings suggest that Doppler classification alone has limited prognostic value, and that incorporating other ultrasound parameters may improve risk prediction.
It was a real pleasure working on this project with Sara Sorrenti and the wider team, under the guidance and expertise of Prof Asma Khalil.”
