Etiology of Thin Endometrial Lining and Euploid Single Embryo Transfer Outcomes – RBMO
Reproductive BioMedicine Online (RBMO) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Patients with thin endometrial lining and a history of uterine surgery exhibit suboptimal outcomes following single euploid embryo transfer compared to those with a constitutionally thin lining.
The findings of this study from Emily Auran Clarke, M.D., and colleagues at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and Reproductive Medicine Associates of New York, underscore the importance of considering the underlying aetiology of endometrial thinning as a key prognostic factor in counseling and clinical decision-making.
The authors caution that intrauterine surgery should be approached carefully, with particular attention to minimizing endometrial trauma, in order to prevent iatrogenic damage, preserve endometrial receptivity, and optimize future reproductive outcomes.
The full paper is available to RBMO subscribers from the ahead of press from our September issue, now.”
