Yinka Oyelese: Inspiring the Next Generation of Ultrasound Practitioners!
Yinka Oyelese, Director of Obstetric Imaging at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“One of my greatest passions in life is ultrasound in pregnancy—an interest that has inspired and motivated me for more than 30 years. Even more rewarding than performing ultrasound is having the opportunity to teach it.
It was a true privilege to teach at the wonderful Philadelphia Prenatal Conference. Many of the participants had never held an ultrasound probe before. Watching their faces light up as they learned to scan and saw an unborn baby in the womb for the very first time was incredibly rewarding.
Their excitement, curiosity, and sense of wonder were contagious. Moments like these remind me why I fell in love with ultrasound all those years ago and why I remain so passionate about sharing it with others.”
