FIGO Best Practice Guidance for Diagnosis and Treatment of Fibroids – FIGO
FIGO (International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics) shared a post on LinkedIn:
”FIGO has launched a new cross-committee initiative aimed at improving fibroid care worldwide. Fibroids can impair bladder, bowel and sexual function; cause infertility; and may lead to complications such as miscarriage, postpartum haemorrhage and severe anaemia. The FIGO best practice guidance for diagnosis and treatment of fibroids will serve as a go-to resource for healthcare providers worldwide, ensuring that up-to-date, evidence-based care reaches the women who need it most.
