Low AMH? The Number Is Not the Verdict – Fertility Plus
Fertility Plus shared on LinkedIn:
“Low AMH? The Number Is Not the Verdict
Being told that your AMH is low can feel frightening. But remember, AMH estimates egg quantity – it’s not a direct count of your remaining eggs. Its greatest value is in predicting how your ovaries may respond during IVF, giving us an idea of how many eggs we might collect after stimulation.
Low AMH does not directly measure egg quality; age plays a much stronger role. A low result is not a diagnosis of infertility by itself! It’s essential to consider it alongside your age, fertility history, and antral follicle count.
Your AMH matters, but it’s just one part of your fertility story!
