Thrilled to Launch a New Special Issue on Twin Pregnancies – IJGO
International Journal of Gynecology and Obstetrics (IJGO) shared on LinkedIn:
“We are thrilled to launch a new special issue on twin pregnancies
Accounting for about 3% of births, twin gestations present a disproportionately high rate of both maternal and perinatal mortality and morbidity.
Despite published guidelines on twin pregnancies over the past few years from several professional societies, clinical practice still varies considerably between centers and countries, and key areas are still underreported.
This special issue will address key controversies, challenges, and recent advances across the full spectrum of twin pregnancy care, from preconception to long-term maternal and child health.
The issue aligns with IJGO’s and FIGO’s mission by highlighting global applicability and implementation across diverse and regional healthcare settings.
Original research, systematic/narrative reviews, and case reports are welcome!”
