Nina Cooper’s Research on Ovarian Masses in Pregnancy Receives Two ISUOG Awards

Nina Cooper, Honorary Senior Clinical Research Fellow at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and Doctoral Researcher at Imperial College London, shared on LinkedIn:

“I’m delighted to share that my research on the diagnosis of ovarian masses in pregnancy has been recognised with both the ISUOG Top Abstract Award and the Young Investigator Award.

Thank you to the scientific committee at ISUOG International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

This work explores how we can improve the ultrasound diagnosis and risk assessment of ovarian masses during pregnancy – an area where clinical decision-making can be particularly challenging.

I’m very grateful to my supervisors Tom Bourne, Dirk Timmerman, Maya Al-Memar and Srdjan Saso, collaborators and colleagues who have supported this work, and to ISUOG for recognising it with these awards.

A particularly meaningful milestone as I come towards the end of my PhD.”
