Georges Raad: Could Oocyte Yield Be Associated with DNA Fragmentation in Cumulus Cells?
Georges Raad, Assistant Professor at the American University of Beirut, shared a post on LinkedIn about a paper he co-authored with colleagues published in Reproduction and Fertility:
“Could oocyte yield be associated with DNA fragmentation in cumulus cells?
In our prospective study of 112 ICSI cycles, higher cumulus-cell DNA fragmentation was associated with fewer COCs retrieved (ρ = -0.27, p = 0.003) and fewer mature MII oocytes (ρ = -0.24, p = 0.008).”
