Wendie Pasterick Aston: Do You Know When You Are Ovulating?
Wendie Pasterick Aston, Fertility/Hormone/Pregnancy Coach Expert, Nath Certified Transpersonal Hypnotherapist, shared on LinkedIn:
”Do you know when you are ovulating? There are signs like cervical mucous, or taking your basal body temp which will spike after you have ovulated.
Charting for a few months, you see a pattern and help predict. You can also use ovulation predictor strips but in my experience they can be a little off depending on how hydrated you are.
If you are using a fertility clinic, they see on the ultrasound how many follicles are developing and just one will release an egg each month, or in some cases 2, which results in twins.
Ovulation is around day 14, but for some women it occurs early or very late. I conceived on day 21 with my youngest.
Education is key: know your body, your cycle, and use these tools.
Learn how to optimize your cycle so the luteal phase is longer to sustain a pregnancy.”
