Kate Pleace is a specialist women’s health nurse, lecturer and PhD researcher with a particular interest in Premature Ovarian Insufficiency (POI), fertility and menopause.
Her PhD research explores women’s lived experiences of POI, including diagnosis, healthcare encounters, identity and the wider impact of POI across the life course.
Alongside her clinical and academic work, Kate is passionate about improving awareness, education and healthcare support for those affected by POI, bringing together research, clinical experience and her own lived experience of the condition.”
