Andrew Kelleher: Looking to Grow Kelleher Lab at the University of Missouri
Andrew Kelleher, Assistant Professor at the University of Missouri-Columbia, shared on LinkedIn:
“I am looking to grow our group at the University of Missouri.
We study:
- how the uterine lining develops and regenerates,
- how epithelial cells establish their identity,
- and how the surrounding stroma shapes these processes.
We want to understand how these interactions support adult function and become disrupted in disease.
Our recent work suggests that uterine epithelial cells can change identity to rebuild tissue, and we are very interested in the signals that regulate this process.
We use a combination of genetic models, organoid and assembloid cultures, and single-cell approaches, but we are open to any methods that will push the science forward.
If you are interested in reproductive biology, cell identity, epithelial-stromal interactions, or tissue regeneration, I would be happy to hear from you.
Prior experience with these methods is not required, and the start date is flexible.
Please send a short note about your interests and a CV to [email protected]. Learn more about our work at uterinebio.com.”
