Rumiana Ganeva: PBMC Therapy – A Breakthrough in Repeated Implantation Failure
Rumiana Ganeva, PhD Biologist at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, shared a post on LinkedIn about a paper published in Immuno:
“Excited to Share New Publication!
Our latest research on intrauterine autologous PBMC therapy and its impact on endometrial immunity and IVF success in women with repeated implantation failure has just been published in Immuno.
In this study, we examined how PBMC treatment reshapes the endometrial immune environment. We found notable increases in macrophages and T helper cells, and a higher macrophage/T-cell ratio in women who achieved clinical pregnancy — suggesting a meaningful immune signature linked to implantation success.
This work reflects my teams ongoing focus on reproductive immunology, spatial image analysis, and data-driven approaches to improve IVF outcomes.
