“Sport and fertility
In this period of Olympiads, thank you to Kevin Dumont (Physical Trainer, MNS, Dietician, and STAPS Teacher) for giving me the opportunity to address a fascinating (and sometimes unknown) subject:
he beneficial effect of physical activity – and the fight against a sedentary lifestyle – on fertility, in both women and men.
Because yes, moving is not only good for the heart… It is also a valuable ally for reproductive health
We will also talk about what goes on behind the scenes: the deleterious impact of certain risky practices, such as excessive sport or doping, on fertility.
And it is also an opportunity for me to introduce a project that is particularly close to our hearts: Predict-F, an e-health application dedicated to the prevention of risk factors for infertility (including… lack of physical activity and sedentary lifestyle)
Developed by the CHU de Toulouse and the company Caring IVF, it will soon be evaluated in a clinical trial.
