” [HEALTH] Ziwig Biotech Achieves U.S. Certification for Endometriosis Saliva Test.
One year after its deployment in France, the Lyon-based biotech (100 employees) will launch its test in the United States.
The product: ‘Ziwig Endotest‘, the first saliva test for the early diagnosis of endometriosis, which affects between 10 and 15% of women of childbearing age worldwide.
A flawless run in France:
- Reimbursed by the Health Insurance (~800€/test)
- 100 partner expert centres
- 22,500 patients benefiting in 2026
The test was awarded the Prix Galien International 2024 in the ‘Best Medical Technology’ category.
Partnership imminent: ‘We are conducting negotiations with several major laboratories. An agreement should be signed in the coming weeks,’ says Yahya EL MIR, founder.
