PCOS Awareness Must Go Beyond Trying to Conceive – PCOS Awareness Association
PCOS Awareness Association shared a post on LinkedIn:
“PCOS is often reduced to a ‘fertility issue.’
But that narrative leaves out so much.
PCOS is a lifelong, full-body endocrine condition that can impact energy, metabolism, mental health, and long-term risks like heart disease and diabetes — long before pregnancy is even part of the conversation.
Waiting until someone is trying to conceive to take PCOS seriously means missing years of opportunities for education, prevention, and support.
This is about whole-person health. At every stage of life.
Understanding early. Advocating boldly. Managing with knowledge and community.
Together, we can shift the conversation.”
