Updated Guidance in Endometriosis Diagnosis – ACOG
American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Endometriosis affects about one in 10 women of reproductive age and causes pain and frustration for many patients. It can be especially challenging when it comes to securing a diagnosis: On average, patients wait between four and 11 years to receive an endometriosis diagnosis.
Our recent guidance equips physicians with the tools and knowledge to speed up diagnosis and reduce barriers to care for adolescents and adults with endometriosis.
Read the updated guidance.”
