Asma Khalil: Paracetamol in Pregnancy and the Importance of Evidence-Based Communication

Asma Khalil, Professor of Maternal Fetal Medicine at St. George’s Hospital, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“WHEN EVIDENCE SPEAKS, FEAR SHOULD NOT.

For some, the fear was so great they sought reassurance that simply wasn’t possible through a scan. Others were left carrying unnecessary guilt, believing they may have harmed their baby.

In this episode of Hormones and Heroines, I explain why robust scientific evidence matters and why clear, evidence based communication is essential for protecting both mothers and babies.
