“Grateful for the invitation to participate once again in Debates in Fertility in Cuernavaca, Mexico.
Year after year, this meeting continues to raise the bar: outstanding organization, highly relevant topics, engaging discussions, and an incredible opportunity to connect with colleagues and friends from across the fertility community.
What impressed me most about this edition, however, was an idea that was both simple and powerful. In reproductive medicine, we often say that ‘the patient is at the center of care.’ This time, the organizers went one step further by inviting a patient to share her journey firsthand, describing every stage of her experience.
Listening to her story was a powerful reminder that behind every treatment, protocol, statistic, and outcome, there is a person navigating uncertainty, hope, disappointment, resilience, and expectations.
Her testimony highlighted the critical importance of empathy, communication, and genuine human connection throughout the fertility journey.
Thank you to Ferring Pharmaceuticals and the entire organizing committee for continuing to elevate the scientific quality of this event while never losing sight of what matters most: the patients we serve.”
