Expanding Knowledge on Endometriosis Awareness Month – ESHRE
European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“March is Endometriosis Awareness Month
Endometriosis occurs when tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus, often causing chronic pain, fatigue and significant impacts on daily life. It affects millions of women worldwide yet remains widely misunderstood, misdiagnosed, or dismissed.
This month is about changing that through greater knowledge, compassion and visibility.
How we’re supporting Endometriosis Awareness Month:
To help open up conversation and access to knowledge, we’re making several resources freely available for the entire month of March — for members and non-members alike:
- A highlighted FoR article ‘Adenomyosis and endometriosis are at ‘crossroads’ of clinical care’
- A free workshop ‘Endometriosis: a holistic perspective’
- A free webinar ‘Challenges in Endometriosis and Endometrial Disorders: Endometriosis surgery and infertility’
- Four Oxford University Press (OUP) open articles, all centered on endometriosis:
- HR: Contribution of endometrial microbiome to inflammation-mediated infertility in women undergoing ART
- MHR: Enhancing collaboration in endometriosis research through the initiative of the World Endometriosis Research Foundation Endometriosis Phenome and Biobanking Harmonisation Project (EPHect)
- HRO: Telehealth cognitive behavioural therapy improves health-related quality of life and pain in endometriosis: the Healing Pelvic Pain Intervention (HaPPI)—a randomized controlled trial
- HRU: Female fertility preservation: 25 years of progress, expanding indications and future prospects
Explore, engage and help raise awareness!”
