Hrishikesh Pai: A Fitting Close – From ESHRE Science to Cambridge Scholarship
Hrishikesh Pai, Founder and Managing Director at Bloom IVF India, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“ESHRE 2026 brought together over 13,000 fertility specialists from around the world at London’s ExCeL Centre — always an energising few days of science, collaboration, and community.
Before heading back, Rishma and I took a day to visit Cambridge. Punting past Trinity College and King’s College, it struck me that this university — founded in 1209 — has been shaping minds for over 800 years, across 31 constituent colleges. There’s a stillness on that river that makes you appreciate how knowledge accumulates slowly, generation after generation.
Travelling with family — my wife Rishma, and Kitty and Chanchal — made the day even richer. And I’ll admit, a part of me wished I could have been a student here myself, simply for the privilege of sitting with ideas and literature in a place built for exactly that.
A fitting close to a week spent among the world’s best fertility minds — from the science of ESHRE to eight centuries of scholarship on the Cam.”
