Title: ‘Repeated implantation failures: from redefinition to management strategies’
Repeated implantation failures (RIFs) have long been a subject of uncertainty, with up to 78 different definitions listed in the literature. Historically, definitions included high failure thresholds (up to ten embryos transferred). However, recent work, such as that of Coughlan et al. with the notion of ’embryonic quality’, and the study by Pirtea et al. in 2021 introducing the diagnosis of euploidy of embryos before their transfer, allow for major advances.
