Lucy Froese: A Reminder for Anyone Still Longing to Become a Mum
Lucy Froese, Fertility and IVF Coach, shared on LinkedIn:
“A Friday reminder for anyone still longing to become a mum.
When you’ve been trying for months or years, it’s very easy to start believing that somehow you’re failing.
Another negative test.
Needing help to get pregnant.
An IVF cycle that didn’t work.
A pregnancy loss.
Or simply having days when you feel angry, jealous, exhausted or completely fed up with all of it.
None of those things make you a failure.
You’re navigating something that asks you to keep hoping, month after month, while giving you very little control.
And your path to becoming a mum may look very different from the one you imagined. Different doesn’t mean failed.
Trying to become a mum when it isn’t happening easily can be one of the hardest things you’ll ever go through.
Because it isn’t just about getting pregnant.
It’s the waiting.
The uncertainty.
The hope and heartbreak.
And finding the strength to keep going when you have no idea how or when your story will end.
So if you’re in the thick of it right now, please remember:
You are not failing. You are going through something incredibly hard.
And there is a big difference.”
