“FIGO has launched a new cross-committee initiative aimed at improving fibroid care worldwide
Fibroids can impair bladder, bowel and sexual function; cause infertility; and may lead ta complications such as miscarriage, postpartum haemorrhage and severe anaemia
The FIGO (International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics) best practice guidance for diagnosis and treatment of fibroids will serve as a go-to resource for healthcare providers worldwide, ensuring that up-to-date, evidence-based care reaches the women who need it most
