“Excellent talk today from Joel Naftalin at the UK fibroid summit.
The role of high quality ultrasound to differentiate between adenomyosis, sarcoma (uterine muscle cancer) and fibroids was discussed.
Ultrasound in triaging patients to the appropriate treatment options was explained. TCRF, open myomectomy, laparoscopic myomectomy or Sonata and many other options.
The role of augmented relatity in robotic surgery is exciting.
