  • Neural placode identified
  • No intracranial signs of open spinal dysraphism

What would be your leading diagnosis and differential?

Fetal MRI was recommended for further characterization; however, the couple declined further imaging. Therefore, the diagnosis remained based on prenatal ultrasound findings.
