Yusuf Beebeejaun: Wrap on the 2026 UK Reproductive Medicine and Surgery Subspecialty Training Meeting
Yusuf Beebeejaun, Clinical Research Fellow in Reproductive Medicine at King’s College London, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“That’s a wrap on the 2026 UK Reproductive Medicine and Surgery Subspecialty Training Meeting!
Thank you to all our speakers for giving up their time and sharing their expertise:
- Sesh K Sunkara – translating the evidence behind gonadotrophin use into practical approaches for individualising ovarian stimulation.
- Cesar Diaz Garcia – navigating the ongoing challenges of managing poor ovarian responders and what the latest evidence means for clinical practice.
- Christian Becker – the complex relationship between endometriosis, adenomyosis and fertility, and how we can better support patients.
- Anastasia Mania – why not all mosaic embryos are equal and the clinical implications of whole versus segmental mosaicism.
- Ippokratis Sarris – on leadership, strategy and innovation, and what it means to be a reproductive medicine physician in 2026.
- Joris Veltman – the rapidly evolving field of reproductive genomics and its role in understanding reproductively lethal disorders.
- Ellen Goossens – fertility preservation and restoration for boys facing gonadotoxic treatments, highlighting an area where science is advancing rapidly.
- Shreeya Tewary – a practical overview of the new NICE fertility guidance and what it means for day-to-day practice.
Thank you also to Michael Rimmer for being my fellow co-chair, and to all the trainees and trainers who joined us and thank you to Murray Stephenson from Theramex for all their help.
See you at the next one!.”
