Adela Serban: Advanced Imaging Technique Enhances Uterine Imaging with 3D Ultrasound and Uterine Tracing
Adela Serban, Head of Human Reproduction and Maternal-Fetal Medicine Department at Fetal Care Center, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“3D ultrasound of the Uterine Cavity with Uterine Tracing offers a precise and reproducible assessment of uterine morphology and cavity contour.
This advanced imaging technique enhances detection of subtle intrauterine abnormalities such as septa, adhesions, and contour irregularities that may be missed on conventional 2D scans. Uterine tracing further allows for standardized evaluation and improved diagnostic confidence.
A valuable tool in fertility workups, recurrent pregnancy loss evaluation, and preoperative planning.”
