excessive water intake and hyponatremia. These findings enhance our understanding of how the brain anticipates and regulates drinking behavior, offering potential
insights for addressing disorders related to fluid balance in humans. Further investigation may reveal whether similar mechanisms exist in humans or other mammals.”
