LaShanta Brice: PCOS Affects Millions, Yet Patient Voices Are Often Underrepresented in Scientific Spaces
LaShanta Brice, Scientific Engagement and Clinical Education Scientist at Stago, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Excited to Speak Tomorrow at the Androgen Excess Society Annual Meeting!
I’m honored to represent both the scientific and patient communities as a PCOS Patient Advocate Scientist, sharing my journey and insights on how lived experience can inform and elevate clinical education and research.
Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) affects millions, yet patient voices are often underrepresented in scientific spaces. I’m proud to help bridge that gap – bringing advocacy, education, and science together to drive meaningful change.
Grateful to PCOS Challenge and the Androgen Excess Society for the opportunity to contribute to this important dialogue. Let’s keep pushing for inclusive, patient-centered progress in endocrine health.”
