Francesca Hockham: The Stories That Don’t End with a Baby Deserve to Be Heard Too
Francesca Hockham, Founder of Friends of Frankie, shared on LinkedIn:
“Not every fertility story has a happy ending. Ours didn’t.
Next week is National Fertility Awareness Week, and this year’s theme, Fertility Unfiltered, feels particularly personal.
My husband and I are childless not by choice.
Our journey involved IVF, miscarriages, hope, heartbreak and ultimately learning to live with a future we never imagined.
I’m sharing our experiences because the stories that don’t end with a baby deserve to be heard too.
You can love the life you have and still grieve the life you didn’t get.
Next week, I’ll be sharing our story, unfiltered, alongside some of the things I wish people understood about infertility.
Because sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is help someone feel less alone.”
