Peter Humaidan: Lectures for the Portuguese Fertility Society on the Aphrodite Classification
Peter Humaidan, Professor, Reproductive Endocrinology at Aarhus University Hospital , shared a post on LinkedIn:
“This morning I gave an online lecture for the Portuguese Fertility Society on Aphrodite and the suggested gonadotropin stimulation of the male according to the Aphrodite Classification.
My fellow speaker was Prof Jorge Hallak from Brazil who gave an excellent lecture in support of medical treatment of the infertile male, elaborating on his huge clinical experience. It was a true pleasure, and never before have I agreed so much with a panellist to a degree in which the chair finally said: can I conclude that the main obstacles to introducing male infertility treatment before IVF are – IVF doctors and female partners. Definitely not untrue…
Thanks to the Portuguese Society and dr Luís Ferreira Vicente for inviting me. Thanks also to Prof Sandro Esteves for being a friend in arms and such an inspiration during many years.”
