Breaking Another PMOS Myth – PCOS Awareness Association
PCOS Awareness Association shared on LinkedIn։
“Let’s break another PMOS myth today.
PMOS is not rare. It affects an estimated 1 in 8 women of reproductive age. It also does not only affect people with larger bodies. PMOS can impact women of all body types.
Irregular periods are not the whole story. Acne, excessive hair growth, and metabolic issues can also be part of the picture. And while PMOS is a leading cause of infertility, many women with PMOS can conceive with the right medical support and lifestyle changes.
Knowledge is power. Early diagnosis and individualized care can improve quality of life and health outcomes. We are here to empower, educate, and support our community with evidence-based information.”
