The recent debate on renaming Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) to Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS) raises important questions. While the current terminology is flawed, the proposed PMOS risks obscuring the centrality of the ovary, the biological hub of the syndrome.

On September 15th I will lay out all the reasons why PMOS is an incorrect definition of the syndrome. Don’t miss it !”
