Enhancing Fertility Outcomes Through Automated Oocyte Isolation – AutoIVF
AutoIVF shared a post on LinkedIn about a paper by Baris R. Mutlu et al. published in Nature Medicine:
“In more than 50% of IVF cases, functional oocytes are unintentionally missed during manual screening of the follicular fluid.
Our clinical study, published today in Nature Medicine, reveals this gap in the current standard of IVF care.
These eggs capable of fertilization can be inadvertently discarded during routine screening, leading to real-world consequences for patients. In our study, one recovered oocyte resulted in a live birth.
This important discovery was enabled by our microfluidic FIND-Chip, the foundational technology behind our automated oocyte isolation and denudation system, OvaReady. This moment marks a key step towards standardizing and providing world-class IVF care across diverse clinical settings, and democratizing access to fertility treatment for all.
We’re proud to share the full open-access study here.”
