Clinician vs. Embryologist, Same Cycle, Different Windows into Biology – Indore Infertility Clinic and IVF Center
Indore Infertility Clinic and IVF Center shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Clinician vs Embryologist: Same cycle, different windows into biology.
In IVF, oocyte and embryo quality are not defined by genetics alone.
The oocyte that reaches the lab has already been shaped by the follicular environment, stimulation strategy, drug choice, dose, duration, trigger timing, and cohort synchrony. Similarly, sperm quality is more than count and motility, it also reflects DNA integrity, chromatin packaging, handling, and preparation.
Controlled ovarian stimulation should not aim only for more oocytes.
It should aim for the most competent cohort.
This is where close dialogue between the clinician and embryologist becomes critical. When embryology observations are fed back into clinical planning, stimulation can be better individualized, better timed, and better interpreted.
The clinician creates the follicular environment.
The embryologist receives the gametes.
The embryo reveals the biology.
Numbers are counted. Competence is revealed.”
