AdhesioRT Test Models Endometrial Receptivity to Optimize Implantation Timing – RBMO
Reproductive BioMedicine Online (RBMO) shared a post on LinkedIn about a paper by Mélanie Chow-Shi-Yée et al. published in RBMO:
“This paper presents results of modelling results from the endometrial receptivity test, AdhesioRT, designed to identify the precise cycle day that optimizes endometrial receptivity, with the goal of improving implantation success rates.
AdhesioRT combines transcriptomic profiling from biopsies obtained during the theoretical window of implantation (WOI) in a natural cycle with results from autologous endometrial co-culture assays. The 10 biomarkers unique to AdhesioRT are essential for two critical aspects of embryo implantation: endometrial receptivity and the maternal-foetal dialogue
By quantifying the expression of these genes through RT-qPCR and analysing the data with a mathematical model, the authors were able to classify endometrial status into three categories: receptive, partially receptive, and non-receptive, helping to determine the most potentially receptive state for conducting personalized embryo transfers.
The full paper is available to RBMO subscribers in Volume 52, Issue 2, now”
