Januli Gamage: Awareness of Endometriosis in Young Women
Januli Gamage, Volunteer Research Assistant at Institute of Biochemistry Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I’m beyond honoured to share that my first research abstract ‘Assessing awareness and knowledge of endometriosis and its effects on daily functioning and emotional well-being among 18–30 aged women in Colombo District, Sri Lanka’ was published and presented at the 13th Annual Scientific Sessions of IBMBB (University of Colombo).
It was truly an incredible experience to present my work in front of esteemed professionals and researchers. This achievement marks an important milestone in completing my Higher National Diploma in Applied Sciences (Pearson UK).
My heartfelt gratitude goes to my wonderful supervisors Ms. Dilrukshi, Ms. Thushmika, and Ms. Kavindi for their endless guidance, encouragement, and support throughout this journey.”
