Jeanne Conry: When the Government Intervenes, Women Die
Jeanne Conry, Assistant Physician in Chief at Kaiser Permanente, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Access to choices around pregnancy care should ONLY be between a patient and her clinical health care expert. When the government intervenes, WOMEN DIE. We know this from years of global research — now the USA is living with what has been shown time and again. Reducing access to abortions and medical care around pregnancy loss does NOT reduce the number of abortions, but it certainly increases the number of women who die. GET POLITICIANS OUT OF EXAM ROOMS.”
