Revolutionizing Endometriosis Detection With miRNA Biomarkers – HerAnova Lifesciences
HerAnova Lifesciences shared a post on LinkedIn about a paper by Yanqin Yu et al. published in Nature:
“HerAnova’s research study published in Nature Magazine (npj Women’s Health) highlights the strong potential of blood-based miRNA biomarkers for non-invasive detection of endometriosis, a condition affecting 1 in 10 women.
The paper, ‘Translation of miRNA blood-based discovery to molecular testing for clinical diagnosis of endometriosis,’ presents a compelling proof-of-concept, with machine-learning miRNA expression models achieving ≥90% accuracy.
This work demonstrates both the clinical viability and cost-effectiveness of miRNA-based diagnostics and establishes the technological foundation for HerResolve, HerAnova’s blood test designed to detect endometriosis in symptomatic women.
