Estradiol Levels and Embryo Development in IVF – RBMO
Reproductive BioMedicine Online (RBMO) shared a post on LinkedIn about a paper by Amanda Setti et al. published in RBMO:
“Amanda Setti, Daniela Braga, Patrícia Guilherme, Assumpto Iaconelli Jr., and Edson Borges Jr. investigate the associations between serum estradiol (E2) levels, the E2/total oocyte ratio, and the E2/MII oocyte ratio with embryo morphokinetics and clinical outcomes in patients undergoing frozen–thawed embryo transfer after intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI).
Their findings describe a non-linear associative pattern between E2 dynamics, embryo development, and implantation, showing continuous, non-linear associations with serum E2 levels, embryo morphokinetics and clinical outcomes, characterized by higher model-predicted estimates along the ascending portion of the spline curve and lower estimates beyond its upper inflection.
RBMO subscribers can read the full paper ahead of press in our May issue, now.”
