“Had a D and C ? what are the risks
Intrauterine synechiae after dilation and curettage (D and C) are rare, occurring in only 0.8% of women. However, the risk increases significantly with repeat procedures, raising concerns for those undergoing multiple D and Cs. This large cohort study emphasizes the importance of cautious use of repeat procedures and personalized counseling for women at higher risk.
