Abortion Law Change Recognised as a Milestone for Women’s Healthcare – RCOG
Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists | RCOG shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Yesterday we marked a historic moment – the law that criminalised women for abortion has changed, after years of campaigning by so many dedicated people.
We were honoured to join Parliamentarians, campaigners, and the women directly affected by this outdated law in the House of Lords to reflect on what this means.
As MP Tonia Antoniazzi put it: ‘This change is bigger than us – not only for women now, but for generations to come.’
We’re proud to have played our part alongside our incredible campaign partners.”
