Recently, a LinkedIn colleague asked me to help identify fertility clinic longitudinal datasets that would link ovarian reserve and follicle numbers with time to perimenopause and menopause.

That data hardly exists because both women and men are treated in subspecialty silos when it comes to reproductive, hormone, and menopause or andropause.

Sadly, many women seeking fertility care are already within or close to perimenopause.

I wish they had known . . .
