Mitochondria are the energy-producing units of oocytes, and their function is essential for egg maturation, fertilization, and early embryo development. Research suggests that CoQ10 supplementation may help reduce oxidative stress and support cellular energy production, particularly in women with advanced maternal age or diminished ovarian reserve.
