“Egg donation gave me my daughters.

But before it gave me my daughters, it asked me to rethink what I thought motherhood was going to look like.

That’s a part of fertility treatment we don’t talk about enough.

There are medical decisions.

And then there are the decisions that reach much deeper.
Identity.
Genetics.
Grief for the path you thought you would take.
Hope for a path you hadn’t imagined.

I eventually became a mum to twins through egg donation.

Four years later, at 42, I conceived their little sister naturally.

My path to motherhood wasn’t straightforward.

But it taught me something I carry into Flowering Fertility every day:

There isn’t one right path to parenthood.
Sometimes the path changes.
The dream doesn’t have to.”
